Well, I can live without it. I just don’t want to. This is simply a lovely dish to cook in and bring to the table.
Le Creuset is not cheap. I had my eye on this for a long time before I bit the bullet but I don’t regret it at all. It just seems to be the perfect shape and weight to cook in. It’s not a necessity but it’s a lovely treat.
The one I have is 30cms diameter and enameled cast iron.
